Associated Endocrinologists has a rich history of expertise in thyroid and other hormone disorders and has been a leading endocrinology referral center serving Southeast Michigan since 1984. Our physicians are all Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism, having completed endocrinology fellowships at the University of Michigan, Northwestern, University of Illinois, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Henry Ford Hospital, and Wayne State University.
Associated Endocrinologists’ physicians have been editors, authors and coauthors of over 100 medical journal articles, medical textbook chapters and books, received awards from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, American Thyroid Association, The American Diabetes Association, served as officers of several national endocrinology societies, and been recognized annually as Endocrinology “Top Docs” in Detroit’s Hour Magazine.
Each doctor has different areas of particular expertise and interest within the field of Endocrinology. Our office welcomes referrals for thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, PCOS, osteoporosis and other metabolic bone problems.
Associated Endocrinologists’ doctors currently have staff affiliations at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, and Farmington Hills, Providence Hospital, and St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital.
Services available in our main office or in the nearby Beaumont Professional Building (West Bloomfield) include thyroid ultrasound, thyroid needle biopsy, thyroid radiofrequency ablation, nuclear medicine (including thyroid/parathyroid scans) including radioactive iodine therapy for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer, radiology including CT and MRI scans, bone density (DEXA), continuous glucose monitoring, diabetes education, nutrition consultation and blood drawing.
