Erica Forbes, FNP-C

Erica Forbes, FNP-C received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honors from Michigan State University. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing with High Honors from South University. Erica joined Associated Endocrinologists in 2017.

Erica is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner after earning her certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2015. Erica is also licensed by the Michigan Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Erica worked as a critical care nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. After almost 6 years of vigilant caring for patients with severe life threatening conditions, she decided to pursue her graduate degree. Her passion and goal is to work closely with patients to prevent these life threatening situations as well as end stage diseases.

Erica specializes in the management of disorders of the bone, thyroid, parathyroid, as well as vitamin D deficiency. She has a special interest in the management of osteoporosis including interpreting bone densitometry. She has a strong passion for patient and family education.

Erica is currently affiliated with the William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
