Gary Edelson, M.D.
Dr. Gary Edelson received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts and completed medical school and residency training at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Edelson is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Michigan.
He is widely published in bone and mineral, diabetes, and lipid disorders. He is a past president of the Michigan chapter of the American Diabetes Association and is a past member of the board of directors of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). He is a past President of the Michigan Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and a past board member for the National AACE organization.
